There are estimated to be 130 women involved in street prostitution in Nottingham
These women live in desperate situations – more than 90% are addicted to Class A drugs and a similar number homeless. Almost half of those working on the streets have been raped.
Jericho Road, a joint church project, is making a difference in these women's lives – helping them to exit prostitution.
Around 60 volunteers and 4 staff are involved in the Jericho Road Project. Each week clients are helped through weekly outreaches, a drop-in centre, mentoring and resettlement.
