The Jericho Road Project (JRP) is a Christian Urban Mission project working with those at risk of or affected by the sex industry in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.  Established for 22 years this year we have a small staff team supported by around 60 volunteers from a range of churches from across the city of Nottingham.

 

This is an essential and permanent new post to help promote the smooth-running daily operations of the charity.

 

It offers an exciting opportunity to become a key member our dynamic staff team, working to maintain, develop and improve the administrative and financial processes and systems of JRP.

 

As a growing organisation we need an effective and efficient administrative centre to support what we do now and enable future development.

 

You will be responsible for operating administrative systems and procedures, including working with the team to support the development of systems for the future work of Jericho Road Project, continuity for the day-to-day functions of administration and finance for the project including supporting our fundraising and social media processes.

 

You must be competent in using office and finance software systems, with strong organisational, analytical, problem solving and communication skills. A good eye for detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential. Previous office and administrative or finance experience would be beneficial.

 

You must be comfortable leading and engaging with Christian prayers and devotions and be able to support and work within the Christian ethos of the project. The post will be subject to a DBS check which we will pay for.
